Silver band ring / Wide band with engraved tulip pattern, made in Hungary. The tulip is the embodiment of femininity and was a frequently used element in folk art, engraved on gates and chests, but also appearing on clothing and tablecloths. The Turks were the first to cultivate them in large quantities, but today we consider the Netherlands to be the country of tulips.
